Well, after much debate with some of my techy friends... I just ordered a new phone... Droid HTC Incredible.... so now, I iz a member of the new generation.... they say it will tell you where you left your car keys... as long as you can figure out where you left the phone...

Now if I can just figure out how to get someone to call me??

Some people call you, you just don't return the calls...

Bill,

I have had the same nextel cellphone for seven years it still works fine. When it stops working I will let Nextel give me a new one, since I pay insurance every month. My kids say I am cheap and I agree, when I open my wallet I have to wake my money up.

Bill,

I ordered my Droid Incredible on the 11th and it arrived on the 26th. Really was not looking forward to the learning curve involved with coming from a 'dumb' (Razor) phone.

Not to worry! The Sense UI (user interface) is, frankly...incredible...and very user friendly.

You're gonna love it.

Professional regards.

and they say that the bail business is hurting right now...you see what happens when these wise old guys run a conservative business model? They can afford the latest technology and don't have to sell it ;)

Scott, you are so right..... I do have friends and others that do in fact call me and I am terrible about returning calls... I want to apologize for my rudeness... My only excuse just now is that I am sometimes in a bit of pain and I am a real bear when I hurt.... other than that, I have no excuse...

I might mention here that I think I have a skip in lower Maryland that I just might be dropping in your lap Scott.... I can think of none that would be as qualified as you and DSI in that AO... I am gonna give it a week or two to see if the indemnitor will give him up, if not... I will very likely be calling you... and I will actually pay you for the work... just saying that in public so you will know that I am not looking for Pro bono.... I don't do bonds for free and I don't expect those that help me to do it for free either; friends is friends, business is business... I will be in touch later next week very likely....

On the subject of phones....Has anyone had first hand experience with the World Capable Droid (Devistator)? I will be needing a world capable phone soon and I am weighing out my options....Blackberries are an option but would rather have Droid, if possible. And NO. Waiting til I get "there" is not an option because many of the phones that are sold by the locals are illegal for me to use, while I am there.

Just so my opinion is clear, I have had no experience with Droids or world capable phones but "on paper" the World Droid wins out, hands down....now I need the real world specs and opinions.

Ha! That's funny, Scott...seems like just a few years ago I couldn't even spell 'wise old guys'...now I are one!

Well, ya know what they call a bondsman with half a brain...?
