I wanted to take a moment and let the FRN Community know that recently here in AZ, a bail bond association was formed and incorporated. Knowing that what we do in our industry is heavily relied upon networking, I thought this would be a good opportunity to introduce a few good bonding agencies here. www.AZBBA.net is the public domain and I encourage you to take a look around. Many of the links are still being worked-out and information is being added weekly. John Burns of Better Bail Bonds in Mesa AZ is the Association President, and we welcome him to the bonding industry in AZ. Here is Maricopa County, Arizona; the industry is up-in-arms over recent court decisions to force bonding companies to now be represented by an attorney at forfieture court, no longer allowing bonding companies to speak on their or their suretys behalf. Also, bond-slamming has become common practice here, and the association will be working with the AZ Dept of Insuance and the courts to create more common ethical procedures recognized nationally. If you are a bonding company in Arizona, I highly encourage you to make contact with John Burns at Better Bail Bonds, and get more information about becoming a member and serving on a board, and attending monthly meetings.
