Who do we have on here in the Asheville, NC area? I was called last night by a long time client who has one down there that the Indemnitor wants revoked. The guy has 2 MD warrants not related to bail and they are misdemeanors, so won't extradite. I have locked this guy up before, and he is a known abuser, Heroin, Percocet, Oxycoton/Oxycodone and alcohol. The client is working with the Indemnitor on the money first, because in MD, if you want to premature someone, you have to surrender all of the money charged to do the bond, along with the defendant and original paperwork. The court does not care if you have collected all of the money or not.

I am just trying to get prepared, because the Indemnitor will set this guy up by paying for a Hotel room by credit card over the phone and then tell us which hotel and room number, so we need to be pretty fluid on this one.

Thanks for the response, Jay! I would be honored to work with you as well. I am waiting on the go ahead from the bondsman, and that is predicated on cash from the Indemnitor, since this is a Bond Revocation case. Personally, I don't turn a wheel until I have been paid up front (unless it is my own skip) and have done my own investigation to make sure the information provided is accurate and not a "Probability" location.

I will call you when I get the call.

I agree with you on the not "turning wheels" untill being paid upfront part of your statement but i was assuming i would be dealing with you anyway and i believe you to be a trustworthy man along with several others on this forum.Networking was the reason i joined this site and if that means taking a risk by trusting a choice few that i have gotten a feel for than it is a risk that i am willing to take.Plus its not like i would be heading across the country so if i happened to be wrong in my assumption than all i would really be out was a day of my time driving through Tennessee and part of N.C.!! not the worst way to spend a day.
Either way, like i said just give me a shout if you need me.

Thanks Josh,
This has been dead too long and will probably be a no go. The Indemnitor is a Dr. (Cardiologist) and the skip is HIS boyfriend. He thinks he can talk him back, and if he does, he won't need us. If he waits to the last minute and makes a crisis management decision, the price will double :)

You have to establish clearly who is at risk and who is in charge of the deal ;)

Nobody has power over you that you do not allow them to have!
