NBI / Minders EP project. National Business Investigations / Minders Protective Services Michael Julian, CPI, PPS CSI has been asked to be a part of assisting NBI/Minders with technical support and recruiting assistance with their Executive Protection project for the Southern States Disaster area. We are excited to be a part of this effort. Our office and our web site will be the center point of communication for agents deployed, agents awaiting deployment and employment for this project. Michael Julian is currently deployed, leading a EP Team in the disaster area and will not be able to personally speak with you or respond; therefore, Michael has asked that we assist him. All communication about the project should go through our site and the available channels on this site. NBI/Minders has been tasked with bringing an armed team to New Orleans to assist local and federal law enforcement control the wave of criminal activity since being hit by Katrina. An Applicant needs a valid CCW in your state of residence to carry. Side arms are required at this time and long guns and shot guns will be approved for carry by the middle of next week. All expenses paid, plus $400 per day (Armed) and $350 per day (un-armed). Average shift is 12 hours. If you are interested in employment on this detail for upcoming assignments please contact us through the web site and submit a resume. There also forms available for you to download that will need to be signed and sent back to our office by fax. Once we have all of the information needed you will be eligible for employment. This will likely last for several weeks so if you cannot participate now, please forward your information anyway with dates you are available as we will likely need you for relief of the full timers later. Go to www.courtservices.org/thetoolbox and visit the forum under 'Special Recruitment" posts. Will have some more information and will be the official area for updates. |

Is this still available? You told me on the phone that Wakenhut had showed up with 600 people working for $12.00 per hour and that their would be no more deployed to the Hurricane areas because they were going to use the cheaper forces. |

I am somewhat confused too. Wackenhut is still actively recruiting. I got a call from them the other day and the guy from the main office said that the area manager I spoke to was mistaken and that they were still taking applications. Though after seeing how unorganized they are, as well as what 45 said I haven't even bothered to fill out an app. I did get an email from Noelle Hill at Coyne Consulting Group Here it is: Hi, We have not received any word from our client about future deployments to New Orleans. We are still holding everyone’s resume, in hopes that they will call with more deployment needs. In light of that, we have another detail in San Francisco doing unarmed strike work. For those of you interested in getting in on this job we would still keep you on file for New Orleans if that comes up. We can always bring people down from San Francisco to New Orleans if we get more deployments down there. Here’s some information on the detail: -Strike detail: non-union, non-teamster, is not expected to be violent -You have to get to San Francisco on your own, and once there, the hotel and food will be paid for -Half of the agents will be in suit/tie, and the other half will be in jumpsuits (provided) Need to bring jump/duty boots as well. (Teams will be determined onsite, so all agents need to bring a suit/tie and jump boots) -Shifts are 7 days a week, 12 hours on, 12 hours off. -Detail is NOT armed. -Agents will receive California Guard Cards. Please let me know asap if you are interested in this, and if you can get to San Francisco as soon as possible. If interested, email me the following information: Name Cell/Contact Phone Number Date when you can be in San Francisco (the sooner the better) Email Address Sincerely, Noelle Hill Coyne Consulting Group |

Hounddog.. The post from Don is the latest information that we have. Unfortunately we do not have new deployment information at this time. All available information is on our web site. I know that many have sent their resumes and are waiting for answers. The deployment is not cancelled. I do not have a complete grasp of the Wackenhut operations. I am pushing for more information as well. The end user clients in this operation have had some faultering as to what they want. Intitially the information was that they wanted strong EP types. Then there was talk that this was too costly, and that they were going with more of the traditional gaurd companies (Wackenhut and companies like them) I now understand that the other companies have had problems and that the end user customers have re-thought their position. EP deployment in New Orleans is still planned, and we are still accepting resumes. CSI is the point of contact for deployment information and recruiting. Noel at Coyne consulting was contacted today regarding the process we are undergoing. ALL applicants and recruited persons, parties interested, and so forth will be going through CSI. You will be reffered back to our web site for information. On that note we are putting together a special newsletter for those persons submitting resumes that will be our way of updating you on the status, as well as posting the informaiton on the web site. |

Eric, Tried to register for the newsletter the other day but the link is not working. I did not know Coyne was part of NBI/Minders as Coyne is based in MA and NBI/Minders only shows offices in CA and CO. |

I was told that you could go directly to www.coyneconsultinggroup.com and contact them about possible deployment options. You may also e-mail nhill@coyneconsultinggroup.com directly. They are in dire need of help for the San Francisco job which is at a hospital with workers on strike. You have to pay for yourself to get to SanFran but then all lodging and food would be provided for. |
