I bumped this and moved it to the public arena.... cause I think it is important to remember some of the more noteworthy quotes by people that we all should revere... of course that is a personal opinion and I would hope that some of us would stick something on here that we think is important and pertinent to today's times....

"The trouble with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money"
<Margaret Thatcher>

........... If you are working and trying to support your family and yourself..... then..... you are the 'other people' ....................

According to a report on O'Reilly last night, 58% of America is on some kind of government assistance.

Now that includes SS, veterans benefits, medicare, etc that those receiving the benefits, also paid to receive. But the point he was making is that now over half of Americans and I guess some illegals are receiving benefits that the other 42% are paying for.

This is a private e-mail that I sent to a small few of my very close friends a couple of weeks ago.

On the top is a picture of an elderly gentleman behind a desk with paperwork looking befuddled.

Then:
I just received my tax return for 2011 back from the IRS. It puzzles me!!! They are questioning how many dependents I claimed. I guess it was because of my response to the question: "List all dependents?"
I replied: 12 million illegal immigrants; 3 million crack heads; 42 million unemployed people on food stamps, 2 million people in over 243 prisons; Half of Mexico; and 535 persons in the U.S. House and Senate."
Evidently, this was NOT an acceptable answer. I KEEP ASKING MYSELF ...
WHO THE HELL DID I MISS? ....................... :mrgreen:
