I just wanted to take this time to remember anyone that has laid their life on the line for our freedoms, friends and family that have served and those that are actively serving here and abroad, and our members on here that serve so that we all can be free. Your sacrifices are not unnoticed or forgotten and we appreciate you more than words can say.

For you Brits that we have here, all is forgotten and forgiven, welcome home!

I have to agree with Mr. Maclean on each point of his post. Thank you to all that do/have served and to those that may have lost thier lives for our freedoms.

.....and, yes. A huge thanks to the Brit's...for without them, I wouldn't be able to laugh every time I see one of those cute little Mini Coopers :D (those are British, aren't they?)

I believe the mini for the most part is made by MINIUSA, but they are still to be found in the UK.

And on behalf of the Brits on FRN, you're welcome.

Mostly stateside... did not see any 'real' combat although I was classified as Vietnam era... I have many friends that were in during that period... some that did not come home from Nam... I think of them often and thank God for their service for me and mine...

I have ridden to the "Wall" several times on my bike on Memorial Day... the first ride as I recall was about '85, right after it was dedicated... rode up with about 10,000 bikers... it was one of the most moving events I have ever been to and you can not visit this memorial without coming away physically shaken... I have tears as I write this...

the poem inscribed here reads:

"If you are able, save a place inside of you and save one backward glance
When you are leaving for the places that they can no longer go;
Be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may or may not have always;
Take what they have taught you with their dying and keep it with your own;
And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane;
Take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind."

GOD BLESS ALL WHO HAVE MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO LIVE IN THIS FREE COUNTRY.

If your not tearing up right now... you just don't understand.

"Rolling Thunder", Bill. My wife and father go every year. This year my mom is riding with dad. This will be her first time. I have not been able to go for one reason or another. Soon, I hope.

Thank you for all that you have done for this country.
